Most Memorable Moment

In peacetime ('46-'47) serving at Marine Barracks, Pearl Harbor with the Base Patrol.
In war time (Korea) our Company escaping from being trapped by Chinese forces in March 1951.  
Having the pleasure and honor of serving with the finest Marine warriors in Easy Company.

Career After USMC

Served for twenty-seven years with the Washington State Dept. of Social & Health Services at Fircrest School for the Developmentally Disabled.  Retired in 1987.

Current Affiliations

Life member, FMDA and the Evergreen Chapter, FMDA; Life member MOPH, DAV; Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.

Family Information

Married my wife in March 1950, have three children, Michael; Dennis; Diane.  Blessed with four grandchildren; Taylor, Spencer, Eilea & Daydra

Degrees/Schools

Attended numerous grade schools, graduated from Briscoe Boy's School.  Attended O'Dea High School.  Then attended Seattle College, but did not graduate.
