Served in Pacific area from September 7, 1946 to May 2, 1947.
Participated in the occupation of China from
September 23, 1946 to April 22, 1947. Served in
the Asiatic Pacific from November 15, 1950 to
September 26, 1951. Participated in operations
against enemy forces in south and central Korea
from December 16, 1950 to September 10, 1951.

I was privileged to serve with the best. Thank
God it was not with the army.

Most Memorable Moment

Arriving in China, 1946 (good duty),
watching the 7th Marines returning from Chosin
reservoir. Also, my fire team had rear guard
during withdrawal from the Quantaco line.

Career After USMC

Worked for Texas Gulf
Sulphur Company and retired after 33 years.

Family Information

Married the love of my life, Bobbye Treacy 7/15/49. Was blessed with
three wonderful daughters -- Patti, Denise and
Suzanne - five grandkids, three step grandkids

Hobbies

Gardening, fishing and golf. (Too
feeble for any since open heart surgery)
