Most Memorable Moment

1. Take off in DC3 out of muddy rice patty.

2. Flying in a little chopper strapped in a sleeping bag inside litter basket

3. Member of the lost Platoon for a day on Hill 749, September 1951.

4. Paying five bucks for a can of beer in the Reserve.

5. Three decks down in a victory ship (Aken Victory) in a typhoon in the sea of Japan (Aken Ass).

Any comments or anecdotes you’d like to add

Disappointments:

1. Not being able to keep Chinese prisoner as my personal house boy.

2. Last can of meat and beans exploding in warming fire.
