Coming under the Golden Gate Bridge on Dec. 21, 1952 returning from Korea aboard the US William Weigel. 

Career After USMC

Finished college with BS degree, taught and coached 21 years, 18 of those years was a volunteer fireman and EMT. Was Safety Engineer for 2 years working with H2S gas; off-shore production supervisor in the Persian Gulf for 5 1/2 years; maintenance supervisor for housing development out of Taos, NM 4 years; correctional officer for Texas Prison System 3 years; retired in 1997

Family Information

Married in 1955. Wife, Joan, 2 daughters, 1 son, 5 grandsons of which 2 are in the Marine Corp, 3 grand daughters. 

Hobbies

Carving, hunting, gardening.
