Assigned to Easy Co. in December, 1950 in Masan, Korea. 

( I was in the third draft.)

I was with Easy Co. from December, 1950 to about 

August, 1951 when I was reassigned to S-3, 2nd battalion.

I was a BAR-man for about two months and 

then promoted to fireteam leader.

I was wounded in September, 1951, 

evacuated and did not return.

Three years including Reserve time.  Achieved rank of Corporal.

Married in July, 1950 to Frances.  

We have four children and six grandchildren.
 

Four years+ of college with degree in engineering.
 

Worked for Circuit Breaker manufacturing 

company as design draftsman,1952 to 1960.

Worked for Switch manufacturing company as Design Engineer 

and Chief Engineer, 1960 to 1996.

We have traveled extensively in the U.S., 

including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Europe.     

We continue to enjoy sailing, kayaking, 

bicycling and trailer-travel, including 

 visits to our children and their families

 around the country.
