TRIBUTE TO "E 2 7 CORPSMEN"
Thanks E 2 7
|
Thanks to God and my E 2 7 brothers I made it back home from the 1991 P.G.W. My best time in the service was during a time of war when I was privileged enough to serve as your Corpsman. It was not until the mist of battle did I have the honor to truly understand what camaraderie is all about. From sharing your M.R.E. to yelling at me to get your ass down down. I now have the understanding of what it truly means to be a grunt. Never in all my years in the service have I served with more valiant and honorable men. It's just so hard to explain to the civilian world what it was like, then I remembered PFC told me afterwords that you just can't explain it. There were good times there were bad times but those were the days! So remember you are the worlds ELITE, most honorable, faithful group of men under Gods green earth now and after death. Enjoy your tour because you will never experience one like it in life again. Make the most of your tour because you will look back and realize those are the most cherished times in your life that you cannot really explain why to a civilian or expect them to understand. Again thank you 2 7 E 3rd herd. P.S. Remember or resting brothers and sisters on this Memorial Day until we regroup. As always SEMPER FI Respectfully submitted, Joseph Ontiveros HM3. |
