Jack loved pork chops and hot meals were hard to come by at The Chosin Rev. He was caught going thru the chow line 3 times; He had to stand extra guard duty because of this

Family Information

Jack was the 2nd son in our family of 9.Jack was born in Covington, KY in our house on Buttermilk Pike, in was up a hollow. Work for dad was slow so we moved to Cleveland. All of us went to Catholic Schools. Jim, Jack & Roy were all at St. Paul’s Catholic School when He & older brother Jim
Joined the Marine Corp Res. Co A 7th INF BN USMCR Unit in Cleveland Ohio. Roy the next oldest joined the Navy. We lived at 2295 Scovill Ave. Cleveland, Ohio; after 1951 we moved to the farm in Andover Ohio.
 

Hobbies

Jack loved to build those wood races that had those little co tubes that you would inligte in the rear of them to make them go. He would always have wrecks. He had a paper route for the Cleveland plain dealer he enjoyed doing that, sometimes I would go with him on his route.
